Terms of Service for Text to Speech Zen

These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of the Text to Speech Zen mobile application on iOS and Android (the "App"). By downloading, accessing, or using the App, you agree to these Terms.
If you do not agree, do not use the App.
1. Who We Are
Text to Speech Zen is operated from Ukraine.

2. Eligibility
The App is intended for general audiences and has no specific age restriction.
If the laws in your location require parental or guardian consent for minors, you must have that consent before using the App.
3. The Service
Text to Speech Zen provides text-to-speech functionality.
We may update, improve, or modify features from time to time.
4. Account Model
The App does not require traditional user registration with personal profile data.
Usage is anonymous/pseudonymous and may rely on technical identifiers.
5. License
We grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to use the App for personal, lawful purposes, subject to these Terms.
You may not:
- copy, sell, lease, sublicense, or redistribute the App;
- reverse engineer or attempt to extract source code except where law permits;
- use the App in unlawful, abusive, or fraudulent ways.
6. Your Content and Text Input
You are responsible for text you input into the App and for ensuring you have rights to use that content.
You must not use the App to process illegal content or content that infringes third-party rights.
7. Subscriptions, Billing, and Renewals
The App may offer weekly, monthly, and yearly auto-renewing subscriptions.
- Payments are processed by Apple App Store or Google Play, not directly by us.
- Subscriptions renew automatically unless canceled before the end of the current billing period.
- You can manage or cancel subscriptions in your Apple/Google account settings.
- Refunds are handled under applicable store policies and law.
8. Privacy
Your use of the App is also governed by our Privacy Policy.
The Privacy Policy explains what data we collect (including technical identifiers and usage data), what we do not store (including text history/files), and your GDPR/CCPA rights.
9. Third-Party Services
The App may use third-party providers including Expo, RevenueCat, AppsFlyer, Firebase, Google Analytics, and Supabase.
Their services are subject to their own terms and privacy policies.
10. Intellectual Property
The App, including its software, branding, and content (excluding your input text), is owned by Text to Speech Zen or its licensors and protected by applicable intellectual property laws.
11. Disclaimer of Warranties
The App is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis to the fullest extent permitted by law.
We do not guarantee uninterrupted, error-free, or completely secure operation.
12. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Text to Speech Zen will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for loss of data, revenue, profits, or business opportunities arising from use of the App.
Where liability cannot be excluded, it is limited to the amount you paid (if any) for the App in the 12 months before the claim.
13. Indemnity
You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Text to Speech Zen from claims, liabilities, damages, and expenses arising out of your misuse of the App or violation of these Terms.
14. Termination
We may suspend or terminate access to the App if you violate these Terms or misuse the service.
You may stop using the App at any time and cancel subscriptions through your app store account.
15. Governing Law
These Terms are governed by the laws of Ukraine, without prejudice to mandatory consumer protection rights that may apply in your country of residence.
16. Apple-Specific Terms (iOS)
These Terms are between you and Text to Speech Zen, not Apple.
Apple has no obligation to provide maintenance or support for the App.
Apple is a third-party beneficiary of these Terms and may enforce them against you as applicable.
17. Changes to These Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time.
Updated Terms will be posted with a new "Last Updated" date. Continued use of the App after updates means you accept the revised Terms.
